RESULTS OF CANDIDATES PROVISIONALLY SELECTED FOR APPOINTMENT

            Vacancies have been notified calling for applications for 522 shortfall vacancies pertain to SC/ST candidates under Special Recruitment for the posts of Lecturers in Government Arts & Science Colleges for 22 subjects.  Certificate Verifications have been conducted in districts for which all the candidates who applied have been called.  After the CV, weightage marks have been awarded for all the eligible candidates for educational qualifications, teaching experience and for the books with ISBN and articles published.

            Hence, among 7628 candidates who have attended the CV, 3075 candidates short-listed on the basis of weightage marks awarded, were called for Interview.  For this purpose, 25 Interview Boards were constituted comprising of Principals of various Government colleges as co-opted Members and senior-most Lecturers as Subject Experts.  3075 candidates have attended the Interview held in Chennai.

            The merit-cum-communal roster of candidates provisionally selected for appointment, based on total marks (weightage marks awarded in Certificate Verification and the marks awarded in the Interview), duly following the communal rotation, is now released for all the subjects.  The candidates are provisionally selected for appointment as LECTURERS for Government Arts & Science Colleges to the Department of Collegiate Education.  The formal selection intimation will be sent to them individually by TRB through post.  Further notification / communication will be issued by the Director of Collegiate Education, Chennai – 6 regarding placement.

            The Provisionally selected candidates are hereby informed that their selection is purely provisional, subject to the verification of original certificates, countersigned teaching experience certificates and books published with ISBN/articles published, and other eligibility conditions, by the appointing authority.  If any information found to be false or incorrect at any stage, his/her ineligibility being detected during or after the appointment, his/her selection/appointment is liable for cancellation at any stage.
